For the week of October 15, 2017

Close contact with our growers about current weather and growing conditions allows us to give weekly updates to keep you informed. We offer current quality and market updates for each category of produce all in one place. Here are some products with great quality and prices this week.

Raspberries:
Supplies in Salinas and Santa Maria have improved, with good quality reports, and steady pricing. Mexico has started with light supplies in some growing areas, and quality reports are good.

Honeydew:
Supplies are coming out of the San Joaquin Valley. Quality has been very nice. The desert regions of California and Mexico have started with light supplies. The offshore season looks to have supplies by mid/late November.

Asparagus:
Markets are starting to bottom out with prices much lower now. Quality is good and sizing is good. Supplies are plentiful out of Peru.
