For the week of May 21

Close contact with our growers about current weather and growing conditions allows us to give weekly updates to keep you informed. We offer current quality and market updates for each category of produce all in one place. Here are some products with great quality and prices this week.

Honeydew:
Supplies are coming from Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and California. Supplies are good out of Mexico, and the California supplies have begun. Offshore supplies are winding down and some shippers have finished for the season but quality has looked good.
Strawberries:
Good supplies continue to come in from Santa Maria with good quality. The Salinas and Watsonville supplies are picking up and quality reports are very good, with larger size fruit and full red color. Prices will remain steady.
Blackberries:
Quality has been very nice for supplies coming in from Mexico, with steady to lower pricing. California supplies have started with limited availability, but are expected to improve over the next few weeks.
